Pattern Recognition
Another day, another Odessa A’zion look that gives me a sense of déjà vu. The Marty Supreme actress hasn’t repeated a label this awards season, yet I feel like I’ve seen this Valentino Spring 2026 Haute Couture look from the Specula Mundi collection before.
When it comes to her red carpet style, she clearly has a formula. The layered jewellery, and relaxed, slightly undone styling have become familiar territory. With the overall mood feeling consistent with what we’ve seen from her throughout the season. It works for her, but the sense of repetition is hard to ignore. I feel that I’m unlikely to remember her awards season style this time next year.

A Classic Turn
Joe Alwyn stepped out in a custom Valentino look that leaned into classic menswear with a few subtle twists. His double-breasted tuxedo offered a sharp, structured silhouette, while the soft bow tie added a slightly relaxed note to the overall styling with the Chaumet Œillet brooch completing his look.

Not Quite Her Lane
I adore Sigourney Weaver, but her looks from the Avatar: Fire and Ash press tour set a higher bar than this Valentino Resort 2026 dress.
The intricate gold embroidery and high neckline give the gown a regal quality, yet the overall silhouette feels a little static. Sigourney often shines brightest in tailored looks with strong structure, which tend to complement her presence more naturally. This softer, more decorative direction doesn’t feel quite as aligned with what she does best.
